Agawam Counseling Center
Agawam Counseling Center provides comprehensive, quality mental health and substance abuse services that are designed to meet the unique needs of children, families, and individuals in the community. Staffed by a multidisciplinary team of highly competent and caring professionals, we are committed to providing services that are responsive and accessible without regard to income. Our long history of meeting the needs of area residents in the center, schools, homes, and the community reflects this continuing commitment. Services are funded by the community United Way, the town of Agawam, and most third-party insurers.
All services include a thorough assessment designed to assure an individualized treatment plan and the collaboration of the treatment team with the individual requesting services. Services may be provided on an outreach basis when clinically appropriate. Services include:

Child Guidance Clinic
The Child Guidance Clinic provides comprehensive mental health, education, developmental, behavioral, and consultative services to Springfield and surrounding communities. Our multidisciplinary staff offers a variety of culturally competent programs in our clinic, at numerous community sites, and in homes. General services include:

The Clinic is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Psychiatric Crisis Services
Psychiatric Crisis Services is a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week program offering an array of crisis services and intensive case management services. These services are available to anyone experiencing a crisis due to an acute or chronic psychiatric condition, and they are delivered through three primary programs: the Crisis Evaluation Team, the Crisis Stabilization Unit, and the Intensive Case Management Program.
